PGEL's Q1/FY27 Surge: New Plant Sparks Massive Growth

PG Electroplast (PGEL) delivered a robust performance in Q1/FY27, driven by the rollout of its cutting-edge washing machine manufacturing plant at the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

The advanced facility boasts a massive annual production capacity of 1.8 million washing machines, substantially boosting the company's operational footprint. Product businesses accounted for 80.2% of total revenue during the quarter, highlighted by a 38.1% growth in the air conditioner segment to Rs 1,401.4 crore, and an impressive 67.2% surge in the washing machine segment to Rs 210.8 crore.

As a prominent name in electronic manufacturing services (EMS) and plastic molding, PGEL’s new facility paves the way for future project expansions, further cementing its leadership in India's consumer durables and electronics manufacturing landscape.
